Our ceramics center, which we lovingly call “The Clay Caverns” features three dedicated ceramics rooms, two large Skutt electric kilns, Shimpo VL Whisper pottery wheels, and a range of Amaco cone glazes – a haven for both beginner and advanced ceramic artists.
AMP Ceramics Membership Program

Prospective members will be asked to briefly meet with our Ceramics Director to talk about their experience with the medium and about the type of work they’re interested in making. That session will also include a mandatory equipment and safety training component to ensure that all members know how to properly use the equipment.
Members are allowed to bring in their own outside ceramics materials to use! If there’s a specific glaze or clay that you prefer over our in-house materials, please feel free. All we ask is that personal glazes or clay first be approved by our Ceramics Director, to make sure we can use them safely in our kilns.
